Now he’s truly a Lost Boy or man. It’s Corey Haim not Haims like I’m seeing printed here. Reportedly Haim “passed away” as we politely say due to a drug overdose. Speculative maybe, but it makes sense. Spotty career, drug abuse, depression, whatever. He would have been a prime candidate for Celebrity Rehab aka Non-Celebrity Rehab. Has there been one celebrity on that show? Mad love to Dr. Drew though (silver fox).

Call me callous but I’m just sick of this weird infatuation we have with Celeb overdoses. Don’t “regular” people die from drugs all the time. Why does the media have to take a time out and act like this is some isolated problem in the “celeb” world? We did the same shit with Heath Ledger then Brittany Murphy and way back with Anna Nicole Smith. For months we’ll have specials on Oprah and ET about wild and crazy celebs and the dangerous underbelly of Hollywood. I’m so tired of it.  Can’t Tiger Woods just sleep with a Chili’s hostess again, please?
